Everyday is P.day in Berlin.

If you notice me wearing the SAME white coat in these pcitures, it's because it is freezing in berlin and I brought nothing but summer clothing (it is MAY .. do not make fun of me) That white rain coat is the only thing I have to protect me from the ice cold German rain. It has been sunny for ONE DAY since i've been here, ONE. You may also notice a lot of food being eaten. It's what we do.

School gets out everyday at 13:00. All 30 (ish) BYU students jet out of the Goethe institute and run wild through the streets of Berlin. We usually disperse into smaller groups, because traveling around Berlin in a huge group would be annoying, both to me and the residents of Berlin, but more to me. Generally we have a vague idea of what we want to do in the afternoon, generally nobody knows how to get there so we just start walking, and generally we get lost a few times. We walk until we find gelato, something cooler than what we're looking for in the first place, a bakery, H&M, Zara, a shoe store, a bakery, gelato, crepes, or a bakery.

Sometimes we even take breaks to do our homework.
there it is. the brandenburger tor.

In attempt to save money, Kendra nearly burned my apartment down. We went to my place to make dinner instead of eating out one night and an oven mit caught on fire and the bottom of a ketchup bottle is now black because Kendra turned on the wrong burner. oopsie!

... but don't worry, the food was not ruined. In fact we made a freaking amazing meal. Tagged in this picture: Mike, Kendra, Tracy, Me, Chicken curry and veggies with rice mit einem kleinen Brötchen. yummmmy. some kids go out and party -- we stay home and cook, like good little mormons.

this was not made at home.

we look like tourists ... because we ARE.

and this is when my camera died that day ...

Three H & Ms in one day. mmm. we can do better and we will!
