and all i want to do is watch a muppet christmas carol. i am obsessed with this movie and we used to own it, but i can't for the life of me find it anywhere in my house. i've resorted to watching clips of it on youtube, which wouldn't be a big deal if my parents internet wasn't as slow as dial up. bah humbug.


it's been a while since santa has visited the ranzenberger home, but my nieces are in kansas this year so guess who is coming to town! SANTA?! i KNOW HIM.

i don't remember when i found out. [you know ... the 'truth'] but i do remember this one time when i was five or six. it was christmas eve and i was thinking about how ridiculous it all seemed. a fat guy that flies around one night a year, creepily sneaks into your house and leaves presents for you? riiight. before bed that night i watched the news, like every normal 5 year old would do, and i saw it with my very own eyes. channel 5 had spotted santa. did you read that . . . channel 5 spotted santa! they showed us a map of the united states and where he had been so far. and he was making his way to kansas. that was it. i was convinced; if he was on the news, he had to be real.


santa, if you follow my blog and read this before you get here, can you bring my dad some peace of mind? he's super stressed out and even had to work today. also just so you know there is nothing more adorable than two little girls who are beyond ecstatic about your arrival. hope you're hungry because we left you some cookies . . .
