"i n e v e r t h i n k o f t h e f u t u r e;
i t c o m e s s o o n e n o u g h."
albert einstein
albert has a point, but can we p u h - l e a s e talk about how we're starting a new decade? a new DECADE! that to me is weird. ten years ago i was 14. ten years ago i was a freshman in high school. ten years ago everybody was freaking out because of Y2K. that's not true is it? that was 1999. whatever the point is it's 2011. eleven. elf.
2009 [i wish you could hear the agony in my voice] i was two weeks away from completing my 18-month mission and freaking out about life as a normal human being. still haven't quite figured that out, have you keri? i know you were thinking it. i just typed it.
2010 i was finagling my way into BYU and had no idea if it was working and by some miracle, and that is no understatement, i got in. [by no means was i dishonest in my pursuit of acceptance to BYU; i just like the word finagle.]
2011 my challenge is settling on a major. again. but this time for real. i would tell you what i'm thinking - but i fear i will change my mind, so i'll let you know in 2020 when i'm about to graduate.
but that will come soon enough.
but that will come soon enough.
Guten Rutsch!
aber rutsch nicht aus.
aber rutsch nicht aus.

I'm going to throw up. We have really been home two years. Holy crap. And it is crazy to think that we are starting a new decade... that didn't even occur to me!!
ReplyDeleteah keri. I love your blogs!! I have a question for you! Did you get a program at AN's? Salt Lake is hosting An's this year and my friend needs to see a program book so he knows how to make one lol.
