it's that time again. you guessed it ...
...and now for another A.D.D moment, by keri.
it was a day just like any other, ok well maybe not. i woke up at 7:40, five minutes before my friend came over so we could walk to our 8:00 class together. as you can imagine i was in a hurry and i forgot my iPod. i hate it when i forget my iPod. i can't study without my iPod. so i texted my roommate lara and asked if she could bring it to me at 10:00 am.
me: hey when you come to campus can you bring me my iPod? it's on the coffee table.
lara: i have class in the erying at ten. i will bring it to you.
me: yay! thanks txt me when you get here.
lara: did you get your iPod? it was there when you txtd me but when i left the apartment it was gone.
me: no. i haven't been home.
lara: maybe jenna grabbed it.
me: hey jenna have you seen my iPod?
jenna: no, sorry!
12:30
i came home assuming lara had gone blind, but she was right it wasn't there. in fact nothing was on the coffee table. i was so confused. she said she had seen it earlier that day, but it was obviously not there anymore. i was perplexed and convinced that i really lost my mind this time. it's one thing for me to think that i have seen something and then it 'mysteriously' disappear but for someone else to claim the exact same thing is really weird.
12:50
me: i found it, i'm not tell you where it was.
jenna: where was it your pocket?
me: no, it apparated into my bag all by itself
jenna: weird, you're usually really good at keeping track of things.
turns out the iPod lara saw belonged to jenna. which explains the iPod 'disappearance' because she took hers with her when she left for school. meanwhile, mine remained on my person the whole entire time.

That's hilarious! I have totally done stuff like that so many times. It drives me nuts when I do!
