i'm so grateful that i got to come home for thanksgiving this year. even if it was only 4 days. i love this time of year. loooove it. i love the food and family and friends and the music and the food and the weather and the food . . .

i did do other things besides eat, you know ...

unfortunately with the holiday season comes calories and unwanted poundage. [despite ice skating and 5ks] but thanks to an eggnog overdose my mother and i accidentally signed up for weight watchers one late night.

me: "if we sign up we have to do this mom . . ."

mom: "ok but, can we start after breakfast?"

. . . and we did. the next morning we gathered the family together for huge breakfast before kristen, jake, and i flew away.
