i woke up on wednesday morning ... late as usual. i rolled out of bed, stumbled to me desk (< am i a pirate?) opened my computer and was pleasantly surprised with at least 10 notifications! that was weird. since normally there are only like 2 (or usually 0.) but then i remembered 
      ... oh yeah it's my birthday. thanks everyone by the way, who wrote on my wall.


i turned 24 on wednesday. T  W  E  N  T   Y    F  O  U  R. gross. i hate it. i told everyone that i was 23 (.... that was a good age.) but then my conscience got the best of me and i told them the truth. good news though ... I have a plan for my life. i just transferred to BYU so who knows how long it will take me to graduate but after i do i'm moving back to germany. for a year or so. i'm not really sure what i'll do. i've considered being an Au Pair. yeah ok doesn't really use my degree but here is why i want to do  this:


i will get paid to have fun (mostly)
my german will get better
i love germany
free room and board
real reason: i dont want to grow up and it's just another way to put it off ...


ultimately I want to teach german in international schools or on military bases. i don't necessarily have to live in Germany just any where .... but preferably in Europe. this requires a masters degree. (i'm pretty sure) so after at some point i'll have to get one of those. I figure that's about the next 3 to 5 ish years of my life. 


by the time i get done i'll be about 29 ... ? and then it's time for a another mission! haha just kidding.


... and that's all i have this far. not bad though huh. in that time I will also learn french and visit france a bunch. 

by the way ... i know what you're thinking: "Two blogs in one night. what a freak?" 

Well yesterday was my birthday and the other post is mostly pictures so - shut-up.

Alive in Wonderland in ... 3D

i really liked it. a i heard a lot of complaints about the film but it was so good. it was also my first experience watching a 3D movie. not going to lie it was that special. 

dunkin donuts. our favorite little hang out. and also the only place big enough to hold all of us that doesn't close at 5 in the afternoon. and it has couches. and donuts. but i've never actually eaten one there. place of my 24th birthday party.


My birthday in Berlin was fantastisch.

so 24, as it turns out ... is not so bad. i guess i just felt like i haven't done as much with my life at this point. 
but then i then i stop for a second and think: who am i kidding - my life rocks. 

25 will probably suck. (haha just kidding kendra.)
